The Tevis Cup Endurance Ride

With the help of Linda Morelli and FALLING LEAF Renegade® Hoof Boots made history in 2009 as the first unmodified strap-on hoof boot to complete the challenging Tevis Cup course wherein said boot was installed onto bare hooves (no metal shoes) and was not attached to the hoof with glue, screws, duct tape, vet wrap, metal teeth and the like, nor was used in conjunction with any accessory protective devices to protect the leg of the horse from the hoof boot itself. Just box stock strap-on Renegades were used. Since then, multiple riders each year have completed Tevis, using both strap-on Renegades and Pro-Comp Glue-Ons.

The Tevis Cup is the worlds oldest modern endurance ride, first held in 1955, and is also considered "the world's best-known and most difficult equestrian endurance ride." Historically, on average only 50% of the starters each year will finish the event.
