A Tie for First and a Blaze of ‘Top-Tens’ at ‘Old Pueblo’ Endurance Race

Cheryl Searer riding her Arabian gelding ‘VERDYKT MBN’ and Dayna Weary riding her Arabian gelding ‘THE REVERLING TGE’ tie for first position on Fridays 60 mile event and incredibly, they also tied for the highly coveted “Best Condition” award.

Another ‘Top Ten’ was earned by Linda Morelli riding her Arabian gelding ‘ADMIRAL COGNAC’ who finished in 6th position.

On Saturdays 50 mile event, Cheryl Searer and Linda Morelli both finished in the top ten again with Cheryl riding ‘VERDYKT MBN’ to a 4th and taking the Best Condition Award and Linda riding her other gelding ‘FALLING LEAF’ to a 5th place finish.

In the 30 mile event on Friday, David Shefrin riding his horse named ‘GE DRUZ SHAATGUN’ finished in 2nd place only one second behind first place. Kristin Walker and her Arab gelding ‘BB TEQUILAA’ finished in 4th. Louise Thompson riding her Arab/Mustang mare ‘STAHR’ finished in 6th for three “Top Ten” finishes in the 30 miler.

On Saturdays 30 mile event, Kristin Walker rode Louise Thompson’s mare ‘STAHR’ to another “Top Ten” for a fifth place finish.
