Renegades Top Ten & Best Condition at the American River 50!

[/caption]Congratulations to Gordon Frazier for placing in the top ten and getting Best Condition on his mare Savannah at the American River 50 this past Saturday!
Here is a bit of an update from Gordon:
Kirt, I wanted to give you feedback on the American River 50 that Savannah & I completed on Saturday. This was the first 50 mile completion for myself and Savannah- and the first AERC ride where I had provided her hoof care and hoof protection (Renegade Glue-ons).
We finished 7th AND she won Best Condition! I am just giddy, I can’t believe it. I had no expectations, placement, nor time goals. My only goal was to get to the finish line with a strong, and healthy horse. The last 4 miles was truly exciting as it was a race with 4 of us- all with the knowledge that one or 2 of us would not get top-ten. We were galloping on all the flat areas during this stretch. I’ve attached 2 pictures, one taken during the best condition competition and one of me with the award. The other fellow is the ride manager, Paul Klentos.
About the glue-ons, this was the first time she had ridden with a glue-on of any sort and the first time I had applied a glue-on of any sort. Obviously my mare was happy with how they felt on her. She moved wonderfully.
